Jigzi Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Jigzi, operated by Garg Capital Group LLC (“Jigzi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Jigzi mobile application, the website at jigzi.app, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using Jigzi, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use Jigzi and which features you choose to use.

Account Information

When you create or use a Jigzi account, we may collect information associated with your account, such as:

• your name or display name;
• email address;
• account identifier;
• profile information you choose to provide; and
• information necessary to authenticate and maintain your account.

If you sign in using a third-party authentication provider, such as Apple, we may receive information that provider makes available to us in accordance with your settings and the provider's policies.

Photos and Puzzle Content

Jigzi allows you to create jigsaw puzzles using photos or images you select.

When you choose to upload an image, we collect and process that image as necessary to create, store, synchronize, display, and share your puzzle according to the options you select.

Your uploaded images may be stored using cloud infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services (“AWS”) and Amazon S3.

You retain ownership of the photos and images you upload to Jigzi.

We do not obtain ownership of your photos merely because you upload them.

Public and Shared Puzzles

You control whether applicable puzzles are private, Public, or shared through features such as puzzle races.

If you make a puzzle Public, the image associated with that puzzle and related puzzle information may be visible to other Jigzi users.

If you invite another person to a puzzle race or otherwise share a puzzle, we make the puzzle and associated information available to the people with whom you choose to share it as necessary to provide that feature.

Do not make a puzzle Public or share it with others if you do not want those people to see its associated image.

Puzzle and Gameplay Information

When you use Jigzi, we may process information about your use of the Service, such as:

• puzzles you create or play;
• puzzle settings;
• puzzle completion information;
• race participation and results;
• puzzles you make Public or share; and
• other interactions necessary to operate Jigzi features.

Device and Technical Information

We may automatically receive limited technical information when you use the Service, such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, timestamps, and diagnostic or error information.

We use this information as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.

2. Photo Library Access

Jigzi may request permission to access photos on your device so you can select an image and turn it into a jigsaw puzzle.

Jigzi accesses photos only according to the permissions you grant through your device.

You can change photo permissions through your device settings.

Depending on the feature you use, an image you select may be uploaded to our servers or cloud-storage providers so that we can create, synchronize, store, share, or otherwise provide your puzzle.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information collected through Jigzi to:

• provide and operate the Service;
• create jigsaw puzzles from images you select;
• store and synchronize your puzzles;
• maintain your account;
• display puzzles you choose to make Public;
• enable puzzle sharing and races;
• authenticate users;
• provide customer support;
• respond to reports of objectionable or infringing content;
• protect Jigzi, our users, and the Service against fraud, abuse, security threats, and violations of our Terms;
• diagnose technical problems;
• maintain and improve the reliability and performance of the Service;
• comply with legal obligations; and
• enforce our Terms of Service.

We will not use your private uploaded photos for purposes materially unrelated to providing the Service without appropriate notice or consent.

4. How We Share Information

We do not disclose personal information except as described in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed to you when information is collected.

With Other Users

If you make a puzzle Public, other users may be able to see and play that puzzle and view its associated image and information.

If you invite another person to a race or otherwise share a puzzle, we may share information necessary to provide that interaction with the participants you select.

Service Providers

We may provide information to companies that process information on our behalf and help us operate Jigzi.

For example, we may use Amazon Web Services, including Amazon S3, to host infrastructure and store uploaded content.

Service providers may process information only as permitted by their agreements with us and applicable law.

Legal and Safety Reasons

We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

• comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request;
• investigate potential violations of our Terms;
• detect, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, security, or technical problems;
• protect the rights, property, or safety of Jigzi, our users, or others; or
• establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Business Transfers

If Jigzi is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.

5. Selling Personal Information

Jigzi does not sell your uploaded photos.

Unless we tell you otherwise through an updated Privacy Policy or another legally required notice, Jigzi does not sell your personal information for money.

If our business practices change, we will update our disclosures and provide any choices required by applicable law.

6. Advertising and Marketing

This Privacy Policy does not authorize Jigzi to use your private photos for third-party advertising.

If Jigzi introduces advertising, advertising-related tracking, or materially different marketing practices in the future, we will update our privacy disclosures and obtain consent where required.

7. Your Photos and AI

Jigzi does not use your private uploaded photos to train generative artificial-intelligence models unless we separately obtain the permission required to do so.

We may use automated software and image-processing technologies as necessary to perform features you request, such as converting an image into a playable jigsaw puzzle. Processing an image to provide a Jigzi feature is different from using that image to train a generative AI model.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect the Service, and enforce our agreements.

When you delete content or your account, we will delete or de-identify associated information as required by applicable law and our retention practices.

Some information may remain temporarily in backups or logs after deletion. We may also retain information where necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or other legitimate legal purposes.

Content that you shared with another user may remain accessible to that user where technically or legally appropriate, depending on how the sharing feature operates.

9. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Jigzi account and associated personal information through any account-deletion functionality provided in the app or by contacting us at:

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

Deleting your account may permanently delete your puzzles, account information, race history, and other information associated with your account, subject to applicable retention requirements.

Before deleting your account, save anything you want to keep.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may give you rights concerning your personal information.

These may include the right to:

• request access to personal information we maintain about you;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of certain information;
• obtain a copy of certain information;
• object to or restrict certain processing; and
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

We may verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some rights are subject to exceptions under applicable law.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

11. California Privacy

California residents may have additional rights regarding their personal information under California privacy law.

Depending on whether and how those laws apply to Jigzi, these rights may include rights to know, access, correct, or delete certain personal information and rights concerning the sale or sharing of personal information.

Jigzi does not sell uploaded photos.

12. Children's Privacy

Jigzi is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without authorization where required by law.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to Jigzi in violation of applicable law, contact us at support@jigzi.app so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, delete the information.

Additional age or parental-consent requirements may apply depending on the user's country.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information under our control.

However, no internet transmission, cloud-storage system, or electronic service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You use the Service with this understanding.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.

14. International Data Processing

Jigzi and our service providers may process and store information in countries other than the country where you live, including the United States.

Where required, we take appropriate measures relating to international transfers of personal information.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

Jigzi may interact with third-party services or contain links to third-party websites or services.

Their privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policies. Jigzi is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties that operate independently from us.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Jigzi evolves.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
